PUBS is a 501C-3 non-profit organization in Placer County that helps its members:

  • Start Homebrewing

  • Improve Brewing Technique

  • Appreciate Beer Styles

  • Share Brewing Experience

  • Get Feedback On Their Beer

  • Understand Beer Judging

  • Network With Other Brewers

  • Have Fun!

JOIN US!

All meetings are open to the public of age of 21 or older.  You do not have to be a member to come and learn what PUBS is about.

Meeting location can change with the weather (some are held outside). See the website for the latest information

MEMBERSHIP

Membership entitles you to:

  • Enter the monthly style competition

  • Enjoy discounts at local brew supply stores

  • Participate in external events that require club membership (such as the Northern California Homebrewers Festival)

Membership Fees:

  • $35/Year due every January (Fees are prorated to $20 July - December)

  • Fees include one additional family member who shares the same address as the paying member.

  • Fees cover club insurance, commercial samples, website and media costs, government fees and taxes, meetings and events and other miscellaneous expenses.

MEETINGS

Meetings are held the third Thursday of each month with the exception of September (Northern California Homebrewers Festival) and December (Holiday Event).

Meetings cover:

  • Brewing Technique Question and Answer Session

  • Educational Presentation on Beer Styles/History

  • Monthly Beer Style Competition
